The Woods of Strongsville HomeOwners Association has an approved Covenants and Restrictions (C&R) Document. This document is housed on this website. A majority of the questions that may be asked as far as what is allowed and not allowed in the development can ALL be found in the C&R. Please see some FAQs below. If your question is not answered here, please refer to the C&R. If you are still not able to find your answer, please feel free to reach out to the Board.

Q: What happens if I fall behind on my HOA fees?

A: In the news was an MSN article “What Happens if You Fall Behind on Your HOA Fees”.  It serves as a reminder that people across the country are confronted with difficulty in paying their assessments, at the same time associations will still look to operate and pursue unpaid assessments. Q: Who do I report non-working lamp posts to?

A: Architectural Review: architecturalreview@woodsofstrongsville.com

 

Q: Do I need permission to build a deck?

A: Yes. Please refer to the C&R to “decks” and all requirements are listed. Submit appropriate documentation to Architectural Review for approval.

 

Q: Do I need permission to build a fence?

A: Yes. Please refer to the C&R to General Restrictions, 6] Fences or Walls. All requirements are listed. Submit appropriate documentation to Architectural Review for approval. 

 

Q: Do I need permission to install a pool or hot tub?

A: Yes. Please refer to the C&R for pools and spas/hot tubs on your property. All requirements are listed. Submit appropriate documentation to Architectural Review for approval.

 

Q: Do I need permission to install or take down new landscaping?

A: The only approval needed for installation or removal, is there is no “clear cutting” of trees. You can refer to the C&R for any other questions on landscaping.

 

Q: Do I need permission to install new siding or paint?

A: Yes. The color scheme must stay within the developments established “Pulte” palette. Please refer to the C&R for details and email Architectural Review for approvals.
