DESCRIPTION:Playground Update: \nWe have exciting news! The board has approved the recommended updates to the playground made by the volunteer playground committee. \nA huge thank you to Jen Baltakis\, Kaitlyn Cobb\, Marah Larson\, Kerri Hudak\, Ashley Rozman and Lorraine Slogik for working so well together with Tom Newbould and Heather Hicks on this project. \nThe 2-5 year old and 5-12 year old play structures will be replaced with new structures during the upcoming off season.  New mulch will be laid as well. \nWe will be donating the old structure to a local church who will be removing it soon. Once the current structures have been removed\, the location will be marked off and closed.

SUMMARY:First Ever! Turkey Trot and Family Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:As you all know\, it has been a crazy year. In many parts of the Woods it has been an opportunity to bring neighbors together. Out of extreme caution\, most of the Woods HOA neighborhood social events have been cancelled. We have thought of a safe outdoor event that all neighbors can participate in. \n1st ever – Woods Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot and Family Fun Run. \nA 5k course and a 1 mile course will be set up through the streets of the Woods for a chance for runners\, walkers\, dog walkers\, joggers\, families\, etc.\, to get out\, have some fun\, see neighbors at a safe distance. \nCost – $15 per adult\, $12 per child\, which includes a specially designed long sleeve t-shirt\, ticket\, medal\, and snacks. Tickets only can be purchased for $3. You can purchase individual tickets\, adult t-shirts with tickets and child size t-shirts with tickets here online. To order and pay by check\, please see below. \nThe run will start and end at the Woods Playground on Ellsworth and will kick off at 9am\, Thanksgiving Morning. \n  \nPLEASE REGISTER (once registered\, we will let you know when and where to pick up the race packet)  \nALL TICKET AND SHIRT ORDERS need to be in to Tom and Bonnie by November 15\, 2020.  \nWe need to collect shirt sizes for anyone buying one.  Kids (S / M / L / XL) and Adults (S / M / L / XL / XXL). \nYou can pay by check or money order by downloading and filling out this form\, drop off or mail to Tom Newbould\, The Woods of Strongsville\, c/o 19108 Blue Spruce Dr.\, Strongsville\, OH 44149.
